The design intention is to establish a building complex that will develop a symbiotic relationship with its surroundings and at the same time break the closed and controlled nature of educational institutions. This process is reflected in the development of a system of leaf shaped buildings resembling the olive branch, stretching around the native flora.  

Perforated north facing facades protect from winter winds and heat loss and south, east and west facades are covered with movable timber louvers so that direct sunlight is strictly controlled. Central atriums are covered by photovoltaic modules that filter instant radiation and at the same time allow for  bright central spaces. Green roofs are implemented on all buildings.

A stream that flows along the site’s natural slope serves for cooling.

Πρόθεσή μας είναι να δημιουργηθεί ένα κτιριακό συγκρότημα που θα αναπτύξει μια συμβιωτική σχέση με τον περιβάλλοντα χώρο και ταυτόχρονα θα προσφέρει περισσότερα βιώματα στους χρήστες από ένα τυπικό εκπαιδευτικό ίδρυμα.

Διαφορετικές λειτουργείες στεγάζονται σε ξεχωριστά κτίρια τα οποία αποτελούν ένα οργανικό σύστημα, σαν κλαδί ελιάς. 

Οι βόριες όψεις αποτελόυνται από μία διάτρητη επιφάνεια για προστασία από ανέμους το χειμώνα και μείωση θερμικών απωλειών και οι υπόλοιπες προσόψεις καλύπτονται με κινητές περσίδες ανάλογα με τον ακριβή προσανατολισμό των ανοιγμάτων, για τον έλεγχο της άμεσης ηλιακής ακτινοβολίας.  Τα κεντρικά αίθρια καλύπτονται από φωτοβολταϊκές μονάδες και τέλος πράσινες στέγες εφαρμόζονται σε όλα τα κτίρια .
